Medical City McKinney invites applications for Seasonal Certified Surgical Tech PRN to join our hospital team. The seasonal program runs 9/20/26–4/3/27 with shifts including weekends and potential float to nearby facilities.

Required: CST or TS-C certification, BLS within 30 days, high school graduate or GED, and 1+ year of experience. Compensation is $35/hour PRN with no guaranteed hours and a minimum 72 hours per pay period.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

• All seasonal RNs are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period.
• Within a close geography, you may be asked to float to another facility that has an emergent staffing need.
• Four (4) weekend shifts are required each 4 week schedule period.
• During the course of the 32-week period, the employee is required to work two (2) holiday shifts (defined by Department Manager or designee).
• Seasonal Staff are PRN status employees and are subject to first call-off. There are no guaranteed hours by the hospital.
• Seasonal Staff willnotbe eligible for extra shift bonuses (D1/CND or D2/ECD)
• Registered Nurses who are in the Seasonal program will have one opportunity to pass the clinical competency evaluation.
• Current FT/PT & PRN employees are not eligibleto join the Seasonal program for 2026--27.
• Current employees of HWS arenot eligiblefor the seasonal program.
• Shifts may vary based on the needs of the department.
