Medical City McKinney is seeking a Seasonal Certified Surgical Tech (PRN) to support the operating room during the seasonal period from 9/20/26 to 4/3/27. The role is based on-site in McKinney, TX, with a pay rate of $35/hour.

Qualifications include BCLS within 30 days, High School diploma, CST or TS-C certification, and 1+ year of surgical tech experience. Shifts and weekend requirements apply; multiple holidays may be scheduled.

SEASONAL Certified Surgical Tech

PRN rate: $35/hour

Seasonal program runs from 9/20/26-4/3/27

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

• All seasonal RNs are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period.
• Within a close geography, you may be asked to float to another facility that has an emergent staffing need.
• Four (4) weekend shifts are required each 4 week schedule period.
• During the course of the 32-week period, the employee is required to work two (2) holiday shifts (defined by Department Manager or designee).
• Seasonal Staff are PRN status employees and are subject to first call-off. There are no guaranteed hours by the hospital.
• Seasonal Staff will not be eligible for extra shift bonuses (D1/CND or D2/ECD)
• Registered Nurses who are in the Seasonal program will have one opportunity to pass the clinical competency evaluation.
• Current FT/PT & PRN employees are not eligible to join the Seasonal program for 2026--27.
• Current employees of HWS are not eligible for the seasonal program.
• Shifts may vary based on the needs of the department.
