Job summary

Haffner’s in Maine seeks a delivery driver responsible for safe, efficient delivery of fuel oil, propane, and related products. You may assist in meter reading, fleet maintenance, and property upkeep during slower periods.

The role requires valid CDL, HazMat/Tanker endorsements, DOT medical certificate, and a flexible schedule including weekends and on-call shifts. Safety and excellent service are emphasized across the team.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of petroleum or propane delivery experience.
• CDL Class A or B with hazmat, tanker, and air brake endorsements.
• Valid DOT medical certificate.
• Ability to pass company drug test, alcohol test, and physical.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, overtime and on call shifts.
• Experience with regulatory requirements (DOT, HazMat, OSHA, FMCSA).
• Proficient with Android tablets and web-based software.

Responsibilities

• Delivers distillates and propane per office directions, maintaining safety and company rules.
• Performs pre-trip inspections and paperwork as required.
• Maintains records and submits reports and customer payments.
• Keeps office informed of delivery or customer situations.
• Supports off-season fleet tasks and meter reading when needed.
