What You Will Do

All Lowe’s associates deliver quality customer service while maintaining a store that is clean, safe, and stocked with the products our customers need. As a Seasonal Associate, this means:

  • Being friendly and professional, and responding quickly to customer and associate needs.
  • Ensuring merchandise is stocked and presented appropriately for customers.
  • Engaging in safe work practices and encouraging others to do the same.

The Seasonal Associate includes one of the following positions: Assembler, Receiver/Stocker, Customer Service Associate (CSA) - Sales Floor, CSA Loader, CSA Front End. These roles are typically in a temporary capacity. All employees support Lowe’s mission by providing excellent customer service through greeting customers, responding to inquiries, and assisting with locating, selecting, demonstrating, preparing, or loading merchandise. Each role has specific responsibilities that contribute to Lowe’s mission to provide quality service and the right products, such as assembling merchandise, stocking, loading for customers, assisting with shopping needs, and processing sales and returns. This list is not exhaustive, and Seasonal Associates may be asked to assist with other duties as needed. Applicants may be considered for any of these roles based on store needs.

Travel Requirements: This role does not require regular travel but may occasionally involve travel to meetings, training, or support for neighboring stores.

What We're Looking For
  • Hourly Seasonal: Generally scheduled for 10 to 40 hours; additional hours may be required based on store needs.
  • Availability: Must be available during mornings, afternoons, and evenings any day of the week. Receiver/Stocker roles require late evening, night, and early morning availability.
  • Physical Ability: Ability to perform tasks involving prolonged standing, sitting, and other physical activities.
  • Lifting Capacity: Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds without assistance; may lift over 25 pounds with or without assistance (except CSA Front End).
  • For CSA Front End roles: Must be able to lift at least 10 pounds without assistance; may lift over 10 pounds with or without assistance.
What You Need To Succeed
Minimum Qualifications
  • Assembler & Receiver/Stocker: Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction).
  • CSAs (Loader, Front-End, and Sales Floor): At least 6 months of experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, outputting information) and a handheld device (e.g., mobile phone, LRT gun, tablet) to enter and access information.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Assembler & Receiver/Stocker: 3 months of experience operating forklift or similar power equipment.
  • CSAs: 6 months of retail experience, including tasks like identifying and selling products, explaining warranties and features, assisting customers, building relationships, resolving issues, zone recovery, and housekeeping.

If required by state or local law, applicants must obtain a salesperson license within 60 days of employment.
