What You Will Do

All Lowe’s associates deliver quality customer service while maintaining a store that is clean, safe, and stocked with the products our customers need. As a Seasonal Associate, this means:

• Being friendly and professional, and responding quickly to customer and associate needs.
• Ensuring merchandise is stocked and presented appropriately for customers.
• Engaging in safe work practices and encouraging others to do the same.

Positions Included

The Seasonal Associate includes roles such as Assembler, Receiver/Stocker, Customer Service Associate (CSA) - Sales Floor, CSA Loader, CSA Front End. These are typically temporary roles. All employees support Lowe’s mission by providing excellent customer service, including greeting customers, responding to inquiries, and assisting with merchandise. Specific responsibilities vary by role, such as assembling merchandise, stocking, loading, assisting shoppers, and processing sales and returns. Seasonal Associates may be considered for any of these roles based on store needs.

Travel Requirements: This role does not require regular travel but may occasionally involve travel for meetings, training, or supporting nearby stores.

What We're Looking For

• Hourly Seasonal: Usually scheduled for 10 to 40 hours; additional hours may be required.
• Availability: Must be available mornings, afternoons, and evenings any day, with Receiver/Stocker roles requiring late evenings, nights, and early mornings.
• Physical Ability: Able to perform tasks involving prolonged standing, sitting, and lifting.
• Lifting: Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds (or over with assistance), and 10 pounds (or over) for CSA Front End roles.

Minimum Qualifications

What You Need To Succeed

• Assembler & Receiver/Stocker: Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• CSAs (Loader, Front-End, Sales Floor): At least 6 months of experience with computers and handheld devices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Assembler & Receiver/Stocker: 3 months of forklift or power equipment operation experience.
• CSAs: 6 months of retail experience, including customer interaction, product knowledge, and problem resolution.

If required by local law, candidates must obtain a salesperson license within 60 days of employment.
