Job summary

Steve Madden in Boca Raton is seeking a part-time Cashier to deliver outstanding customer service at the POS with solid product knowledge. You will process transactions accurately, greet customers, and support store operations including merchandising and inventory management.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in retail, strong communication skills, and the flexibility to work varied hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years of retail experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain outstanding customer service standards, possess solid product knowledge, greet and acknowledge every customer, and address any and all concerns by the customer at POS.
• Reinforce a rewarding customer experience.
• Complete all sales transactions accurately and efficiently, while maintaining all cash accountabilities at registers.
• Assist in various store operations, including floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, cleaning duties when necessary, and returning products to inventory as needed.
• Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise; participate in receiving and monitoring floor stock.
• Be flexible to occasionally perform work outside your specific role.

The Cashier is responsible for listening and responding appropriately to customer needs, maintaining extensive product knowledge, and exhibiting professionalism at the POS.
