Job summary

Steve Madden is seeking a part-time Cashier in Baton Rouge to provide excellent customer service at the POS, maintain product knowledge, and uphold professional standards. The role involves processing transactions accurately, supporting store operations, and helping with merchandising and inventory tasks.

The position requires 1–2 years of retail experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong communication skills. A flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years of retail experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to process information or merchandise through the computer system and POS register system.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.
