What You Will Do

All Lowe’s associates deliver quality customer service while maintaining a store that is clean, safe, and stocked with the products our customers need. As a Seasonal Associate, this means:

• Being friendly and professional, and responding quickly to customer and associate needs.
• Ensuring merchandise is stocked and presented appropriately for customers.
• Engaging in safe work practices and encouraging others to do the same.

The Seasonal Associate role includes positions such as Assembler, Receiver/Stocker, Customer Service Associate (CSA) - Sales Floor, CSA Loader, and CSA Front End, typically in a temporary capacity. All employees support Lowe’s mission by providing excellent customer service, greeting customers, responding to inquiries, and assisting with locating, selecting, demonstrating, preparing, or loading merchandise. Each role has specific responsibilities contributing to Lowe’s goal of offering quality service and the right products, such as assembling merchandise, stocking, loading, assisting shoppers, and processing sales and returns. This list is not exhaustive, and associates may be asked to perform other duties as needed. Applicants may be considered for any of these roles based on hiring needs.

Travel Requirements: This role does not require regular travel; however, occasional travel may be needed for meetings, training, or to support nearby stores.

What We're Looking For

• Hourly Seasonal: Generally scheduled for 10 to 40 hours; additional hours may be required based on store needs.
• Availability: Must be available for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts any day of the week, except Receiver/Stocker which requires late evening, night, and early morning availability.
• Physical Ability: Ability to perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, sitting, and other physical activities.
• Lifting Requirements: Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds without assistance (over 25 pounds with assistance, except CSA Front End) and at least 10 pounds without assistance (over 10 pounds with assistance, only for CSA Front End).

What You Need To Succeed

Minimum Qualifications

• Assembler & Receiver/Stocker: Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• CSAs (Loader, Front-End, and Sales Floor): At least 6 months of experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, outputting information) and a handheld device (e.g., mobile phone, LRT gun, tablet) for similar tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Assembler & Receiver/Stocker: 3 months of experience operating forklift/power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
• CSAs: 6 months of retail experience involving customer service, product knowledge, and sales support.
