Barnes & Noble College seeks a Seasonal Campus Store Team Member to deliver exceptional customer service while supporting daily store operations. You will greet customers, help find course materials and supplies, and process transactions at the point of sale in a fast-paced campus store setting.

Competenze

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive shopping experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and teammates.
• Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to changing business needs in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Mansioni

• Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Assist customers in locating course materials, school supplies, apparel, gifts, and other merchandise.
• Operate the point-of-sale system to accurately process transactions (cash, credit, and financial aid purchases).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor through merchandising, replenishment, recovery, and housekeeping.
• Support daily store operations by assisting with inventory, receiving merchandise, order fulfillment, and other tasks to keep the store customer-ready.
• Develop product knowledge by staying informed about merchandise, promotions, store services, and course materials to confidently assist customers.
• Work collaboratively with teammates to accomplish daily priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Contribute to a clean, safe, and organized store environment reflecting the Barnes & Noble College brand.
