Job summary

FIND Outdoors is seeking a Campground Site Manager to supervise daily operations, oversee facilities, grounds and equipment, and coordinate programming with the Chief Education Officer. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, sustainability, and strong community relations as an ambassador for FIND Outdoors.

Seasonal position with mid-March to mid-November seasons; compensation includes full hookup campsite and a weekly pay of $325 per person.

Qualifications

• Managerial experience with strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently.
• General knowledge of accounting and record keeping principles.
• Ability to communicate with USFS about safe and attractive operations.
• Ability to supervise seasonal hosts and support staff.
• Ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high level collaboration with USFS Appalachian Ranger District.
• Hire, train, and supervise seasonal hosts and scheduling.
• Prepare hosts for site management and interpretation duties.
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences and resolve issues promptly.
• Register guests and collect fees; oversee sales outlet operations.
• Coordinate repairs with FIND Facilities and Operations Director.
• Adhere to annual budgets and oversee grounds maintenance.
• Record keeping, reporting, and participation in FIND staff/USFS meetings.
