Job summary

Andaz Miami Beach is seeking a Cafeteria Attendant to maintain the employee cafeteria with fresh food and a clean atmosphere. This role involves supporting service, cleaning, dishwashing, and general food service tasks in a fast-paced hotel environment.

The position requires good communication, ability to lift moderate weight, and flexibility to work across shifts, including weekends. Prior food and beverage experience is a plus, and teamwork is essential to hospitality delivery.

Responsibilities

• Set tables with clean condiments, linens and other items as needed according to restaurant standards and demands of the table seating.
• Restock water, drinks, cereal, bread and any other items as prescribed by the Chef as necessary throughout your shift.
• Carry dishes, food, silverware and trays from kitchen to serving counters when supply runs low
• Perform janitorial duties such as cleaning workstations, emptying the trash, mopping up spills and sweeping during your shift.
• Pack and scrape dirty dishes, properly arranging them in the correct section of the dish pit for stewarding.
• Perform other related functions that may be assigned.

Position Summary

This culinary position requires good communication skills and the ability to lift and carry moderate weight. Food and beverage experience is a plus. Providing excellent service, cooking, cleaning, and dishwashing are some of the duties this job entails.
