Job summary

Discovery Land Company in the Hamptons is seeking seasonal Bussers/Food Runners for its Dune Deck Beach Club in Westhampton Beach and The Hills in East Quogue. The role runs April 1, 2027 to October 31, 2027 with H-2B visa sponsorship available.

You will support servers, deliver food, and help maintain a smooth service flow. Responsibilities include clearing and resetting tables, assisting kitchen staff, and keeping the runner station stocked.

Qualifications

• Three (3) months of experience in a high-volume environment at a restaurant, resort, or private club.
• Required to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Required to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Set tables, replace linens, clean dining areas and reset for service.
• Deliver food from kitchen to guest tables, ensuring correct dish is served.
• Clear and reset tables, maintain glassware and silverware levels.
• Assist kitchen staff to ensure dishes are plated correctly and delivered promptly.
• Prepare the runner station and restock as needed, keeping the area clean and organized.

This role will be located at Discovery Land Company’s Hamptons locations: Dune Deck Beach Club, set in Westhampton Beach, New York and The Hills set in East Quogue, New York.

Employer of record is: DLV Hamptons Management LLC Dune Deck Beach Club and The Hills are seeking seasonal Bussers/Food Runners to join the Food & Beverage Service Department.

This role is available April 1, 2027 – October 31, 2027. H-2B visa sponsorship is available. In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate food service by cleaning tables, removing dirty dishes, replacing soiled table linens, and setting tables.
• Support Servers by delivering food items to the guest table, while taking care to deliver each dish to the proper seat.
• Clear away anything from the table that isn’t being used and check water glass levels while refilling as needed.
• Replace any silverware as needed.
• Check surrounding area of restaurant for anything that needs to be cleared, Provide brief explanation of items being delivered to each guest and ask if anything else is needed.
• Assist kitchen staff as needed to ensure dishes are plated properly, matching the description on the ticket and delivered accurately and efficiently, including any condiments or sauces.
• Responsible for preparing the runner station for each meal according to the checklist and consistently restock as needed, keeping the area clean and organized.
• Maintain familiarity with the menu items and be prepared to answer any guest questions, Follow and maintain restaurant policies, procedures, training, safety, and security.
• Attend all briefings, meetings, and trainings as necessary.

Qualifications

• Three (3) months of experience in a high-volume environment at a restaurant, resort, or private club.
• Required to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and shifts greater than eight (8) hours in length.
• Required to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Required to work indoors and outdoors.
• Required to stand, walk, and move for a period of greater than four (4) hours.
• Required to lift, carry, bend, stoop, squat, reach, push and pull.
• May be required to lift and carry items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.
• Knowledge of safe food handling practices.
• Background check will be performed at the expense of the employer.

• Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Benefits

Pay Range: $20.56 - $24.75 USD per hour; based on experience

• Optional furnished housing is available to a worker who lives outside of a commutable distance through a separate company at a weekly housing rate of $125.00 (including Basic Utilities).
