JOB SUMMARY: To assist servers and bartenders in providing excellent service to all guests patronizing the restaurant and bar. Responsibilities include clearing plates, resetting tables, watering, serving bread, and performing any duties deemed necessary by the manager to ensure a seamless and high-quality guest experience, creating a legendary experience for all guests.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Set up bus stations with all necessary items for the shift, including but not limited to: water, silverware, napkins, salt and pepper shakers, wiping towels, coffee, iced tea, lemonade, and other items needed throughout the shift.
- Help clear soiled dishes from tables, including glassware, silverware, bread plates, and other items not in use.
- Reset tables as guests depart, including wiping, resetting, and cleaning the surrounding area to prepare for the next guest.
- Perform duties as deemed necessary by the manager to serve guests effectively.
- Close down the station, store all supplies, clean bus areas, and perform any closing duties required by the manager.
- Know the menu and be able to answer guest questions about food and hotel services.
- Perform side work accurately and promptly.
- Engage sincerely and warmly with all guests, maintaining consistent eye contact and a smile.
- Follow and deliver 5-star service standards, delighting guests by anticipating their needs.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Proficiency in Spanish is preferable.
- Proficient in conversational and written English.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
- Ability to lift 45 pounds or more.
This is a non-management, seasonal position.
Pay Scale: $18.60/hour + gratuities.
