Job summary

Diptyque is seeking a Brand Ambassador to represent our luxury fragrance and home goods brand in Wilmette, IL. You will engage customers with Diptyque’s narrative, provide personalized consultations, and drive sales through exceptional service and product knowledge.

Representing the brand, you will educate shoppers on Diptyque’s range, maintain elegant visual merchandising, participate in events, and build lasting relationships with clients while upholding the brand’s values.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a luxury retail, sales, or customer service environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to connect with diverse clientele.
• A genuine passion for luxury products and an understanding of the Diptyque brand aesthetic.
• Strong sales acumen and a results-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as retail demands.
• Excellent presentation and grooming standards, reflecting the luxury nature of the brand.
• Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent Diptyque with professionalism and enthusiasm, consistently reflecting the brand’s sophisticated image and values.
• Actively engage with customers, providing personalized consultations and an immersive brand experience.
• Educate customers on Diptyque’s product range, ingredients, history, and unique selling propositions.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets through proactive customer interaction and upselling/cross-selling techniques.
• Maintain pristine visual merchandising standards, ensuring products are displayed attractively and according to brand guidelines.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and organizing products.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
• Gather customer feedback and market insights, communicating them effectively to management.
• Participate in special events, promotions, and training sessions as required.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to foster brand loyalty.
• Any other tasks as assigned from time to time by any manager
