Books-A-Million is seeking a friendly and knowledgeable Bookseller to provide exceptional customer service and promote our merchandise. You will greet customers, assist with questions and orders, and operate the cash register to complete transactions.

The role supports merchandising, promotions, and store operations, including inventory, housekeeping, and basic POS tasks. This is an active seasonal position designed to deliver a great shopping experience.

Qualifications

• 16 years of age or older as required for entry.
• Successful completion of required background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide high level of service while assisting with questions and orders.
• Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately.
• Promote store programs and memberships and support merchandising tasks.
• Balance cash drawer within policy, and maintain store cleanliness and organization.
• Assist with receiving shipments, inventory, and general store duties.
