Job summary

U.S. Boiler Company, a Burnham Holdings, Inc. subsidiary, seeks an Electro Mechanic to join our Lancaster, PA team.

This full-time, union-hourly position requires maintaining and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment and supporting major projects. You will troubleshoot transformers, motors, switchgear, and related systems while adhering to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate has electrical and mechanical aptitude, acceptable combination of education and hands-on trades

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; six months to two years of formal trades training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to install and repair electrical equipment including transformers, switchers/controllers, circuit breakers, motors, and conduits.
• Electrical and mechanical aptitude with safe work practices and Ramsey Exam requirement.

Responsibilities

• Installs and repairs electrical equipment: switches, receptacles, motors; checks input voltages and relay/I-O continuity; uses electrician's tools.
• Repairs mechanical equipment: pumps, motors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems; uses mechanics' tools.
• Builds simple jigs and fixtures and maintains buildings in repair.
• Installs and repairs piping systems (water, steam, compressed air) and uses plumbers' tools.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
