Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Port Reading, NJ, seeks a bilingual HR Assistant (Seasonal) to provide clerical HR support, including recruitment, payroll administration and related activities.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year HR/payroll/clerical experience, and ability to work in warehouse temperatures. Spanish language skills are required; Microsoft Office proficiency is expected. Base pay range is $24-$28 per hour.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of HR/payroll/clerical experience preferred.
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during warmer and colder months

Responsibilities

• Provides support for the recruiting process (e.g., schedule interviews, background checks, and job fairs).
• Coordinates the new hire orientation process and I-9 compliance.
• Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
• Supports payroll processing and benefits administration.
• Other duties as assigned.
