Sussex Academy is seeking a 2026-2007 Middle School Baseball Head Coach to lead the program at Sussex Academy Secondary School in Georgetown, Delaware. The position is casual/seasonal and reports to the Athletic Director, with duties including planning practices, game strategies, and ensuring safety for student-athletes.

Candidates should have previous coaching experience and familiarity with DIAA rules. CPR/concussion training or willingness to obtain, and required background checks are

Qualificações

• Previous coaching experience preferred.
• Familiarity with DIAA rules, regulations, procedures and policies preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Communicates with assistant coaches in regards to roles, duties and expectations.
• Works collaboratively with coaches to implement organized practice plans and game strategies.
• Helps oversee the safety conditions of the facility or area in which assigned sport is conducted at all times that students are present.
• Responsible for adherence to all HAC, DIAA, and school rules, regulations, and policies.
• Prepares detailed inventory of team equipment and updates inventory after each session.
• Maintains and updates team and individual records.
• Follow and practice Sussex Academy's Mindful Coach Profile.
• Performs other duties as assigned that relate to this position.
