Qualifications

• CPR certification and concussion protocol training, or willingness to become certified.
• Clean Criminal Background Check and Delaware Child Protection Registry clearance required.
• TB test must be completed prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with assistant coaches regarding roles and duties.
• Works with coaches to implement organized practice plans and game strategies.
• Oversees safety conditions of the facility during activities with students present.
• Ensures adherence to HAC, DIAA, and school rules and policies.
• Prepares inventory of team equipment and updates after each session.
• Maintains and updates team and individual records.
• Follows Sussex Academy's Mindful Coach Profile.
• Performs other duties related to this position.
