Job summary

County College of Morris is seeking an Assistant Coach for Baseball (Tier 1) for the upcoming season. The role involves supporting the Head Coach in training, game planning, and student-athlete development, with recruitment and coordination of team activities.

It is a part-time, seasonal position based at the CCM campus in Randolph, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred), CPR/AED certification, and coaching or collegiate playing experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• Experience in coaching or competitive playing at college level preferred.
• Ability to recruit and organize student-athletes and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach in all aspects of coaching and organizing the team.
• Oversee pre-season training, supervision, evaluation, and preparation for practices and games.
• Identify potential student-athletes, conduct campus visits, and coordinate with Admissions.
• Organize team managers for stats collection and game uploads per bylaws.
• Ensure safety and maintenance of equipment; assist with media day and away events.
