Qualifications

• Software development experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Analytics staff in research and analysis to improve on-field performance.
• Assist in statistical analysis and modeling of baseball data.
• Develop and maintain data collection systems and tools.
• Create and optimize database queries.
• Attend analytics meetings and review public baseball research.
• Provide data support during events like the Rule 4 Draft and trade deadline.
• Handle ad hoc data requests from Baseball Operations.
• Prepare data import, cleansing, and preparation for analysis.
