Job summary

The Chicago Cubs are seeking an Associate, Baseball Technology to manage and operate core technologies, collect and process video and data for affiliates, and assist coaching staff with analytics during the season. The role starts with remote training, then moves to Mesa, AZ for Spring Training and through the Minor League season.

Candidates should have a technical degree or equivalent experience, strong software skills, and the ability to learn Hawk‑Eye, Trackman, BATS, Rapsodo, and Blast

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or strong professional experience in a tech field.
• Solid understanding of technology and software.
• Ability to learn and master baseball technologies such as Hawk‑Eye, Trackman, BATS, Rapsodo, Blast sensors.

Responsibilities

• Remote training before Spring Training.
• Operate core technologies during practices and games at spring training and affiliates.
• Monitor data collection software to ensure reliable video and data for games.
• Calibrate pitching machines and train on data collection software.
• Travel with the team to affiliates as needed.
