Compass Group USA, operating Levy at Four Winds Field in South Bend, Indiana, seeks a Bartender for the seasonal part-time role. You will prepare and serve beverages for guests in the bar area, ensuring friendly, courteous, timely service and adherence to liquor regulations.

This spring-to-fall position runs April through September, with event-based shifts. Eligible candidates must have a valid alcohol server permit; bar or guest service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid alcohol servers' permit.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to liquor regulations regarding serving to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Sets up bars and stocks beer, wine, spirits, glassware, ice and garnishes.
• Maintains freshness of garnishes, juices and perishables for quality.
• Greets guests in a courteous, friendly manner.
• Takes and processes drink orders; mixes and presents drinks from standard recipes.
• Checks guest IDs to verify legal age.
• Receives cash, makes change, and records charges.
• Locks up and secures beverage stock, cash drops, and equipment.
• Performs general cleaning to meet health and safety standards.
• Arranges bottles and glassware for an attractive bar display.
