Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma and prefer at least 1-year industry experience.
• Must have excellent verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to read and understand simple instructions, memos and short correspondence.
• Must have a working phone that can be used to clock in or receive text messages,
• Must be able to exercise sound judgment and problem-solving skills and develop effective proactive solutions.
• Must be able to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Must be able to complete work in a timely, organized manner.
• Punctuality and consistent attendance.
• Must be able to work independently if needed at an event.
• Must be able to interact positively with clients, staff and other third parties.
• Serve Safe Certification (food handlers)
• RBS Certification (Responsible Beverage Service)
• Valid Driver's License preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensures exemplary guest services through all forms of banquet bar service
• Ensures that events are properly equipped and executed by transporting, pulling, setting up and breaking down, as well as returning equipment to designated storages in compliance with standards and instructions.
• Performs side work by helping to provide a safe and clean work environment.
• Cleans and organizes the restocking of equipment/products returning from catering events.
• Understands safety responsibilities as well as environmental laws by following established procedures, polices, training and involvement activities.
• Performs other duties that could be assigned.
• Experience with full bartending including beer, wine, cocktails and mocktails.
