Job summary

The Dollywood Company is seeking a Bartender for Dollywood's HeartSong Lodge & Resort. This part-time seasonal position requires excellent guest service, handling orders, mixing specialty drinks, and maintaining a clean bar area to meet health standards.

Applicants must be at least 21, able to obtain Serve Safe/Alcohol Server Certification, and comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays at Dollywood’s resort complex in Pigeon Forge, TN. Prior hospitality experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Requires thorough knowledge of a specialized or technical field
• Must be able to obtain Serve Safe/Alcohol Server Certification
• Basic computer knowledge and usage preferred
• Ability to safely operate company vehicles according to company policy. Must have valid driver’s license, proof of auto liability insurance and acceptable motor vehicle driving record

Responsibilities

• Checks with Manager for daily forecast training standard objectives
• Ascertains the daily specials from kitchen and communicates them
• Answers phone and record take-out food/drink orders
• Inspects Bar for cleanliness, proper supply levels
• Makes specialty drinks to standard including ingredients and presentation
• Maintains a clean and sanitary environment in compliance with all local and federal health codes
• Performs service, busser and runner duties as appropriate
• Must be willing to work in other disciplines within the department as directed by management
• Uses POS accurately. Handles cash and card transactions as directed
• Participates in upsell strategies as directed by management
• Participates in daily line ups
• Practices service standards and current training throughout service
