Job summary

Collared Martin Hospitality on Martha’s Vineyard is seeking an experienced bartender to join the Faraway brand restaurants. You will take orders, craft beverages, upsell food, and build repeat clientele in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include at least 1 year in a full-service bar, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, English communication, and ServSafe Alcohol/Allergen certifications. Seasonal, full-time role with potential growth within Collared Martin Hospitality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a full-service restaurant bar environment.
• Must meet state requirements to serve alcohol.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge all bar guests immediately.
• Take and upsell food and beverages.
• Input orders into POS accurately.
• Maintain knowledge of house cocktails and wine list.
• Ensure proper cash handling and payments.
