Job summary

Encore is seeking a Seasonal Audio-Visual Technician to set up and operate basic AV systems in a hotel environment, ensuring guest satisfaction. You’ll report to the appropriate Operations leadership and assist with on-site coordination during events.

This full-time seasonal role includes benefits, overtime, and hands-on training to foster growth. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and hold a valid driver’s license; potential for reapplication based on performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Must complete all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may apply.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment for events.
• Exceed client expectations and maintain positive relationships on site.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues and handle changes promptly.
• Complete order entries and coordinate with staff and vendors for equipment.
• Assist with up-selling and invoice finalization with clients.
