Job summary

Encore Global in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a seasonal, full-time Audio-Visual Technician to set up and operate basic AV systems for hotel events. The position includes hands-on training, overtime eligibility, and full-time benefits based on business needs.

You will work closely with clients on-site, ensure equipment functions correctly, and coordinate with hotel staff. Requirements include a High School Diploma, a valid driver’s license, and 1 year of hospitality or AV experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• A valid driver’s license required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• External applicants must meet training and certification requirements within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment in a hospitality environment.
• Exceed client expectations and maintain positive client relationships on site.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Verify equipment with clients and complete required paperwork accurately.
• Assist with invoicing and equipment coordination with internal teams.
