Qualifications

• Qualified healthcare professional as defined by state regulations and applicable licensure.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Comply with school policies and participate in athletic department communications.
• Submit required documentation and eligibility forms as needed.
• Educate parents, athletes and staff on injury prevention, rehabilitation and wellness.
• Plan and teach fundamentals, conditioning, and sport-specific strategies.
• Maintain accurate performance records and participate in awards programs.
• Follow safety protocols including bloodborne pathogen standards.
• Performs fittings and education on crutches, braces, and other equipment.
• Maintain athlete confidentiality and perform other duties as assigned.
