Major League Baseball is seeking an Associate Software Engineer (Seasonal) in the Baseball and Content Engineering (BACE) organization to build the code powering MLB.com. Collaborate with top engineers and product teams to deliver AI-enhanced features and maintain robust test coverage across the stack.

You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment, using AI-assisted workflows and agentic tools to boost productivity and software quality.

Qualificações

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 0-2 years of Java and Spring Boot experience.
• Experience with front-end web development.
• Understanding of unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows and AI coding assistants.

Responsabilidades

• Leverage AI coding assistants to scaffold code and accelerate feature delivery.
• Write clean, concise modular code and review AI-generated code for quality.
• Develop comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure high coverage.
