Job summary

Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Baseball Systems) to collaborate with the Baseball Systems team in building and maintaining the player information system and related platforms. The role emphasizes independent thinking within a collaborative team, contributing to both design and implementation across the full web stack.

The ideal candidate has a CS-related degree and five years of experience, with hands-on baseball exposure and familiarity with Large

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field from four-year college or university.
Five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent.
Hands-on baseball experience strongly preferred.
Experience utilizing Large Language Models.

Responsibilities

Coach and support engineers through solution design and implementation as a technical advisor.
Maintain hands-on ownership of critical systems and drive design and long-term sustainability of key applications.
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, readable, maintainable code for scalability and shared understanding across Systems.
Evaluate, test, and integrate emerging tools and frameworks to improve performance and development efficiency.
