Job summary

CHS Inc. is seeking individuals to join our seasonal grain team in Julesburg, CO to assist in daily scale operations during wheat and corn harvest. No prior experience is required, and we offer competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and overtime to maximize take-home pay.

Shift schedules range from 7a-7p, Mon-Sat, with potential to join full-time at season end. As a major grain buyer and trader, CHS operates a vast network and aims to maintain safety and efficiency at all times.

Qualifications

• 0-6+ months of Operations, Business Operations and/or Customer Service experience.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work longer days, weekends, and/or holidays during peak seasons.
• Pre-employment screening may be required (drug, criminal, motor vehicle, physical requirements and FMCSA Clearinghouse).

Responsibilities

• Weigh and grade grain in inbound and outbound trucks.
• Provide high level of customer service.
• Answer telephone promptly and direct calls as needed.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Assist other personnel as needed.
• Promote and follow safety policies and identify hazards.

Starting now through the end of fall CHS, Inc is looking for an individual to join our seasonal grain team in Julesburg, CO to assist in running daily scale operations during wheat & corn harvest! As a major buyer and trader of grains and oilseeds, CHS moves more than two billion bushels annually through its network of river, rail and export terminals.No previous experience needed - come work for the largest co-op in the U.S to receivecompetitive pay, flexible scheduling, and overtime hours to maximizeyour take home pay.Shift schedules range from 7a-7p M-Sa depending on business demand with weekend hours and the potential to join our team full time at the end of the season.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and grade grain in all inbound and outbound trucks using computer and manual tools for measurement.
• Provide a high level of customer service by addressing customers in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner.
• Answer telephone promptly and direct calls as needed.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Assist other personnel as needed.
• Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.

Minimum Qualifications (required)

• 0-6+ months of Operations, Business Operations and/or Customer Service

CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
