Job summary

Cherry Hill Programs is seeking a Seasonal Holiday Retail Assistant Manager at Valley River Center. You will assist the Local Manager in leading a seasonal team, drive sales and guest service, and ensure a magical holiday experience for families.

This on-site role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth within the company. Responsibilities include staffing, training, opening/closing duties, and handling guest interactions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable in cash handling/sales transactions.
• Ability to lead a team, work independently, and make sound decisions.
• Attend required pre-season training.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak retail periods.
• Minimum 20 hours per week or as needed.
• Able to lift and carry equipment 10–25 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive, collaborative environment upholding company values and policies.
• Assist with opening-day preparations including hiring, inventory, scheduling, and training.
• Capture photos and help guests choose memorable souvenirs.
• Resolve customer concerns to support a great guest experience.
• Lead by example and reinforce senior-management procedures.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate to IT or Local Management when needed.
• Assist the Local Manager with inventory, scheduling, training, recruiting, and other admin tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
