Overview

Iron Horse Golf Club is seeking a Seasonal Assistant Golf Professional to begin in early May 2027. The candidate will be a key contributor to the golf operation and the overall success of the club. The primary responsibility is to provide an exceptional golf experience to members and guests through warm customer service, a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the application of prior knowledge.

You will have the opportunity to learn from and work alongside PGA Professionals who are dedicated to your personal and professional growth.

Experience Required

Some high end private club experience is preferred.

Essential Responsibilities

Iron Horse is a great opportunity to contribute, learn, and grow in a high-end, private, equity club experience. It is a '2nd club' for most Members, whose primary clubs are the elite around the United States and Canada. The course is perennially ranked within Montana's top 5 golf courses. Iron Horse Golf Professionals spend their time (approximately) in the following way: 70% outside servicing members and their guests (as the professional managing the 1st tee, practice facility tee, or staging area), 20% in office time, and 10% in the Golf Shop. This is not a traditional-style operation (where it is required for a professional to primarily work at the Golf Shop counter). A golf professional can develop as quickly as they desire at Iron Horse. Responsibilities will be determined by the candidates current experience , areas of interest, and the club's operational needs .
