Job summary

Lakeside Book in Indianapolis is hiring for a seasonal warehouse role. The shift runs Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, with possible overtime including Saturdays. Pay is $17.50 per hour with On Demand Pay options.

Location: Indy North, 5550 W. 74th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46268. Responsibilities include labeling, sorting, palletizing, wrapping products, loading shipments, and assembling items per specifications, while following safety policies.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience - required.
• Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced, physically demanding seasonal periods.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for 8 to 10-hour shifts.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with team members and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Label, sort, palletize, and wrap product for shipment.
• Safely load product to correct carrier for shipment.
• Assemble products according to detailed specifications and drawings.
• Communicate discrepancies, damage, or order issues to supervisors.
• Adhere to all safety policies – steel toes required.
