Job summary

Strategic Security is seeking an Armed Security Officer in Houston to perform armed patrols across government, corporate, retail, and fast‑food environments. You will prepare reports, monitor CCTV/alarms, control access, deter misconduct, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, valid armed security licenses (HR 218 or state), and prior security experience with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• HR 218 handgun carry license or equivalent required.
• Pass and possess any required driving license tests for company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform armed foot patrols at assigned sites.
• Prepare detailed reports of incidents and activities.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems and control access/egress.
• Deterrence of criminal activity and misconduct; engage with visitors and staff.
• Liaise with local law enforcement as needed.
• Maintain site area in clean, professional condition.
