Job summary

OnTrac is hiring a Seasonal Area Manager in Denton, TX. The role is onsite at an operational facility with a Tuesday–Saturday shift from 4:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The starting base pay ranges from $54,400 to $68,000, with total potential base salary up to $81,600 based on experience and performance.

The position oversees sort activities, drives improvements, and leads Package Handlers. Benefits include health, retirement, paid leave, and holidays, with eligibility dependent on policy.

Qualifications

• GED or Diploma required; BA/BS preferred.
• Ability to evaluate and summarize data and present answers.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office and mathematical skills.
• Effective communication skills including giving honest, constructive feedback.
• Experience with hiring, training, motivating, disciplining, and completing performance evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Manage, staff and schedule a team of Package Handlers and Lead Package Handlers in an assigned area.
• Monitor employee progress, provide ongoing feedback and address performance/attendance.
• Conduct pre-sort meetings and communicate daily goals, events, and safety priorities.
• Record and manage departures/arrivals and flow of volume from Linehauls.
• Execute administrative duties including safety training, audits, and end-of-shift reporting.
