Job summary

Leidos LLC seeks a Senior Administrative Coordinator to provide broad administrative and organizational support on McMurdo Station under the Antarctic Support Contract. The role is seasonal, approximately 20 weeks per year, and requires US citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance and NSF medical/dental examinations.

The anticipated salary range is $60,000–$64,000 annually, with potential deployment pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required and 5+ years of relevant administrative experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience developing briefings.
• Familiarity with government, scientific, or military documentation and correspondence.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally and follow policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to ASC area management and McMurdo Station staff.
• Support program goals, deliverables, metrics, and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate meetings, schedule, and distribute minutes; act as liaison.
• Manage confidential information securely and in accordance with policies.
• Update organizational charts, personnel rosters and station reports; track projects and deadlines.
• Assist in onboarding/orientations for newly arrived personnel and visitors.
