Job summary

Moonlight Companies in Reedley, California is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the AM shift on a seasonal basis. The role focuses on installing and maintaining production machines and facility equipment, with emphasis on preventive maintenance and safety compliance.

You will diagnose problems, perform repairs, and work with the Maintenance Supervisor to keep operations running smoothly, while adhering to food safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities
• Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions
• Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
• Work with Maintenance Supervisor to ensure that all maintenance related projects are in compliance with all employee safety, food safety and regulatory standards
• Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use and knowledge of all equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedure
