La Colombe d’Or Hotel is seeking a reliable Seasonal AM Prep Cook / Porter to join our culinary team. This hands-on morning role blends culinary prep with porter duties in a chef-driven boutique hotel kitchen.

Qualifications

• Previous professional kitchen experience preferred.
• Basic knife and food preparation skills.
• Able to follow recipes and direction.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily prep lists and assist with mise en place.
• Vegetable and herb preparation, portioning, and basic knife work.
• Assist with sauces, dressings, stocks, garnishes, and other prep.
• Receive, organize, and store deliveries properly.
• Maintain walk-ins, dry storage, and prep areas.
• Label, date, rotate, and store products using FIFO.
• Keep workstation clean and organized throughout shift.
• Assist with dishes, pots, and general porter duties as needed.
• Remove trash, recycling, and maintain BOH cleanliness.
• Support culinary team to prepare for service.

We are a chef-driven boutique hotel looking for someone who takes pride in their work, stays organized, and understands the importance of strong preparation and a clean kitchen. This is a hands-on morning position combining culinary prep with general kitchen and porter responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Completedaily prep lists and assigned production
• Vegetableand herb preparation, portioning, and basic knife work
• Assistwith sauces, dressings, stocks, garnishes, and other mise en place
• Followrecipes and portion standards consistently
• Receive, organize, and properly store deliveries
• Maintainwalk-ins, dry storage, and prep areas
• Label,date, rotate, and properly store products using FIFO
• Maintaina clean and organized workstation throughout the shift
• Assistwith dishes, pots, pans, smallwares, and general porter duties as needed
• Removetrash, recycling, and cardboard and maintain BOH cleanliness
• Assistthe culinary team wherever needed to prepare for service
