Job summary

Stratton Mountain Resort seeks a part-time seasonal Alpine Race Coach to lead modern alpine race coaching, provide feedback, and help SWSC athletes develop skills for ski racing in a fun, safe environment.

This role starts at $20.00/hour with increases based on certifications and will involve evening, weekend, and holiday work during the winter season. Recruitment will be ongoing through December.

Qualifications

• US Ski & Snowboard and/or USASA membership is required or strongly preferred.
• Current Safesport, CPR and First Aid and CDC Heads Up Concussion certifications are required.
• Additional industry certifications or endorsements would be strongly preferred.
• Experience with US Ski & Snowboard/USASA rules and venue maintenance is required.

Responsibilities

• Execute in-season programming plan developed by SWSC managers.
• Maintain excellent guest and employee rapport and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and supervise training and competition venues with emphasis on safety during training.
• Maintain highest safety standards and code compliance for guests and staff daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
