Job summary

Inland Deicing Services, LLC is seeking a part-time seasonal Aircraft Deicer at our airports location. The role involves inspecting aircraft for ice, applying deicing fluid, and ensuring safety and compliance throughout the operation.

Responsibilities include planning the de-icing event, equipment checks, and accurate completion of logs and shut-down procedures. Candidates must be 18+, able to read/write English, and have basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English.
• Must be able to verbally direct in English.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Must be able to speak and hear efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe environment during the de/anti-icing operation and follow company policies and procedures.
• Inspect aircraft for ice and remaining frozen contamination after deicing.
• Participate in pre-planning for the de/anti-ice event (check equipment, trucks, fueling etc.).
• Ensure proper shutdown of pads, including paperwork and logbooks; report maintenance issues.
• Follow proper shutdown procedures for the equipment and communicate any issues.
