The Town of Barnstable Recreation Division is seeking a dedicated Program Specialist to lead seasonal youth field hockey programs. The role focuses on safety, engagement, and enjoyment for children in grades K-7, with emphasis on field hockey instruction.

The ideal candidate brings enthusiasm, leadership, and a strong background in the sport, ready to guide participants during the Saturday sessions of the fall season.

Qualifications

• Instructing and coaching field hockey for youth.
• Ability to engage and motivate children in a recreational setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with parents/guardians.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and lead youth in field hockey activities and games.
• Ensure safety and well-being of all participants.
• Supervise group activities and maintain an inclusive environment.
• Enforce program rules as set by Recreation Division.
