Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and results-driven SEO Specialist to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic to our website. As an SEO Specialist, you'll analyze, review, and implement changes to our website to optimize for search engines, ensuring it ranks well for relevant keywords.
Key Responsibilities:
- SEO Strategy Development: Create and implement SEO strategies, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link-building tactics, to enhance website performance and drive organic traffic.
- Website Optimization: Perform on-page SEO for website content, including meta tags, title tags, header tags, image optimization, and URL structure.
- Keyword Research: Conduct extensive keyword research to identify high-potential search terms to target for content creation and page optimization.
- Content Creation & Optimization: Work with the content team to ensure all content is optimized for search engines and follows best practices for SEO.
- Competitor Analysis: Monitor and analyze competitor websites and search rankings to identify opportunities for improvement and keep track of industry trends.
- Analytics & Reporting: Use tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and third-party SEO tools to track website performance, measure SEO campaign success, and identify areas for improvement.
- Technical SEO: Collaborate with developers to implement technical SEO improvements such as site speed optimization, mobile optimization, structured data, and crawl error resolution.
- Link Building: Develop and execute link-building strategies to enhance domain authority and improve organic rankings.
- Stay Up-to-Date: Keep abreast of the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to ensure strategies remain effective.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful SEO campaigns.
- In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decisions.
- Experience with website analysis using a variety of SEO tools and platforms.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), especially WordPress.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Google Analytics and SEO certifications.
- Experience in local SEO, eCommerce SEO, or mobile SEO.
- Understanding of user experience (UX) principles and how they relate to SEO.
