Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a GNA Machine Operator 2 to join our binding production team. You will operate the Big Red sealer, load materials, verify weight scales, and monitor quality to meet safety standards.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of machine operation experience preferred. We offer health benefits, a 401(k), education assistance, and on-site wellness facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic math, mechanical and computer skills.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Big Red sealer
• May use computer to load printer software
• Set up and verify weigh scale
• Load/unload sealing equipment with product and packaging material
• Recognize and react to problems with equipment, make adjustments as required
• Inspect and verify product according to quality standards
• Work with Machine Technician to resolve problems with equipment
• Clean equipment as required to ensure proper operation
• Break down scrap packages
• Able to work effectively within small teams
• Accurately complete scrap tickets
• Accurately complete daily production sheet
• Accurately update hourly goal board
• Maintain production pace and standards
• Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area
• Practice 5Ss
