Job summary

Nopak, a leader in hydraulic and pneumatic systems in the Greater Milwaukee Area, seeks a hands-on Quality Technician for the shop floor. You will inspect parts, verify setups, read prints, and work alongside machinists to catch issues before they ship.

You will own inspection documentation, calibrate gauges, support root cause analysis with the Engineering Manager, and help drive continuous improvement on a fast-paced production floor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a machine shop or manufacturing quality/inspection role.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specs, and GD&T.
• Proficient with precision measuring equipment on the shop floor.
• Experience with CNC milling/turning familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process, first article, and final inspection against print requirements.
• Select and use correct measuring equipment for each feature.
• Take repeatable measurements and re-verify questionable readings.
• Verify machine setups and first pieces before runs are released.
• Inspect incoming material and document nonconformances.
• Maintain gage calibration and record-keeping; support root-cause analysis.
