Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous machine operator experience required.
• Experience in slitting, coating, or printing preferred.
• Good human relations skills and strong verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and follow all related safety policies and programs.
• Accurately report time, production, and material usage.
• Set up the machine, including preparing materials and retrieving paper from storage.
• Enter job and production information into the computer, including measurements.
• Report irregularities, maintenance needs, and quality issues to the Team Operations Manager.
• Assist the crew with running, changing over, starting up, and cleaning up the machine.
• Check raw materials on hand to prevent shortages during production runs.
• Use a ruler to verify material dimensions for quality assurance.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and recommend process improvements.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Perform other job tasks and projects as assigned.
