Job summary

Finley Asphalt and Sealing, Inc. seeks a Sealcoat Crew Laborer/Non CDL Sealcoat Driver to support asphalt maintenance and sealcoating operations. This hands-on outdoor role involves preparing surfaces, cleaning areas, mixing and applying sealcoat, and assisting the crew to complete projects safely and efficiently.

The job requires physical stamina and reliability, with long hours, weekend work, and occasional overnight travel. A valid driver's license is preferred; CDL is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical labor outdoors and tolerate varying weather conditions.
• Capable of following safety protocols and using PPE properly.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team on outdoor projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare asphalt surfaces by cleaning, blowing, edging, and removing debris.
• Assist with mixing, loading, and applying sealcoat material to driveways, parking lots, and roadways.
• Use brushes, squeegees, and spray systems to apply sealcoat evenly.
• Set up cones, barricades, and signage to ensure safe work zones.
• Maintain tools, hoses, and equipment; assist with clean-up at end of shift.
• Assist with crack filling, line striping, and other related tasks as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE at all times.
• Work cooperatively with team members and take direction from the foreman.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
