Job summary

Safran in Marysville, WA is seeking a Sealant Operator for the 1st shift to build aircraft carbon fiber parts using resins and epoxies per drawings and specs. You will seal parts per orders, inspect for defects, and ensure traceability of materials, while preparing paperwork for shipping and invoicing.

The role is entry-level with 0-3 years of experience, requires English proficiency, and includes full-time on-site work with competitive hourly pay in the USD range.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: 0-3 years.
• Computer Skills: Must be able to understand and use Microsoft Office products.
• Other Skills: Ability to read and understand manufacturing orders.

Responsibilities

• Builds aircraft 787 structures carbon fiber parts using resins and epoxies according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Seals parts per manufacturing order or Static PWO as required.
• Maintains and identifies defects in parts and reports to supervisor or QA.
• Documents materials used to maintain traceability.
• Organizes completed parts and paperwork for shipping and invoicing.
