Job summary

Ellison is seeking a production team member (Seal Out) to ensure final packaging labeling and palletization meet customer specifications. Expect to work across shifts, attend pre-shift meetings, and maintain rigorous safety and sanitation standards.

Role requires following directions, reading instructions, and effective communication with teammates. The position emphasizes GMP adherence, manual tasks, and coordination with multiple production areas to protect product quality and brand integrity.

Qualifications

• Must understand and follow direction and pass all Food Safety and Safety courses in English (Required).
• Read and follow work instructions.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers.
• Work independently; self-managed.

Responsibilities

• Attend and be on time for all pre-shift production meetings.
• Adhere to GMPs and safety programs.
• Complete required Alchemy courses throughout the year.
• Clean production equipment following SSOPs.
• Ensure daily paperwork is completed.
• Ensure packing setup is correct.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and equipment.
• Assist other areas of production as needed.
• Communicate relevant information to other production shifts and employees.
• Welcome new team members and train as assigned.
• Report any food safety and quality problems to management.

Seal Out

Purpose:

Seal Out are responsible for ensuring final product packaging is correctly labeled and palletized pursuant to the customer’s specifications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Attend and be on time for all pre-shift production meetings
• Participation and adherence to all food safety and safety programs
• Completion of assigned Alchemy courses that are required throughout the year
• Clean production equipment following established Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOP’s)
• Ensure daily paperwork is completed
• Ensure packing set up is correct
• Ensure that all utensils, equipment, and work area is maintained in a clean and safe manner
• Assist other areas of production as needed
• Effectively communicate all relevant information to other production shifts and employees
• Welcome all new team members and train as assigned
• Immediately report any and all food safety and quality problems to management

Follow all:

• Good manufacturing practices (GMP’s)
• Food safety management system policies and procedures
• Sanitation procedures
• Food safety management system policies and procedures to protect the Brand through providing extraordinary value through food safety and product quality
• Safety policies and procedures
